Starting therapy isn't always easy. Whether you're reaching out because life feels overwhelming, you're carrying the weight of past experiences, or you're simply hoping to better understand yourself, taking this first step is an act of courage.
My goal is to create a space where you can take a deep breath, let your guard down, and know that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. I believe healing begins when we feel genuinely heard, accepted, and understood. From our very first session, my hope is that you'll experience therapy as a place where you don't have to pretend everything is okay—you can simply show up as yourself. Every person has a unique story, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they discover new ways to heal, grow, and move toward the life they want to live.

I provide therapy for adolescents (ages 14 and older), adults, older adults, and families
from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and life experiences. I especially enjoy working with teenagers and young adults as they navigate life's many transitions, relationships, identity development, school or career stress, and the uncertainty that often comes with this stage of life. Watching clients discover their strengths and grow into greater confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I welcome individuals of all backgrounds and strive to create an affirming, culturally responsive environment where every client feels respected, valued, and safe.
I don't believe therapy is about fixing people. I believe each person already has strengths, resilience, and the capacity for growth. My role is to help you reconnect with them.
Together we'll explore your experiences, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and
develop practical tools that help you feel more confident in everyday life. My ideology prioritizes understanding the diverse experiences of my clients and building a positive and trusting rapport.
Treatment approaches:
As a trauma-informed therapist, I continue to pursue advanced training in evidence-based treatments for trauma and PTSD.
Sarah also accepts self-pay and offers a sliding scale for those who qualify.

Licensed Professional Counselor committed to compassionate, evidence-based care and ongoing
professional growth.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with rescue animals, listening to music, or enjoying time with the people who matter most to me. I have a deep appreciation for the comfort animals can provide during difficult seasons of life and firmly believe in the healing power of human-animal connection. Music is another important part of my life and something I often see helping people process emotions, find comfort, and reconnect with themselves.
Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and I know how vulnerable it can feel to reach out. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply looking for a place where you can be fully yourself, I'd be honored to support you. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We'll take it one step at a time—together
Sarah is accepting new clients in person and or virtually.
