 Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a noninvasive and complementary relaxation and stress reduction technique that promotes the body's natural ability to heal itself. A Japanese energy healing technique, Reiki aims to improve energy flow and clear blocked energy.
 

Reiki addresses issues affecting us on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels and fosters overall well-being and balance. Reiki can help chronic fatigue, headaches and migraines, asthma, anxiety disorders, insomnia, depression, and much more.
 

Many people use Reiki for wellness. Reiki is not a cure for a disease or illness, but it may assist the body in creating an environment to facilitate healing. Reiki is a great tool to use as a complement to traditional medicine. Hospitals, medical centers and facilities, and hospices, are utilizing healing Reiki therapy as a beneficial complement to their professional services. Reiki may benefit you as part of a health, healing, or wellness plan. It is not a substitute for qualified medical or traditional care.

60 minutes = $80 and up depending on services

90 minutes = $120 and up depending on services

Insurance is not accepted; however, Reiki may be covered by your health insurance plan. If reiki is part of a treatment plan that is covered by your insurance, such as massage, physical therapy, or palliative care, you can talk to your insurance provider before treatment.

Health Spending Account: If you have a Health Spending Account, there may be some exceptions to reiki not being covered. Reimbursement in exceptional cases: In some exceptional cases, reiki services can be reimbursed.

     The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) offers a variety of benefits to people living with HIV. The RWHAP is administered by the HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The program funds grants to cities, counties, states, and community-based organizations to provide services. Complementary and Alternative Therapies (CAM) are used alongside conventional medicine to enhance treatment or manage symptoms.

Please contact your Ryan White Case Manager regarding coverage of complementary and alternative health therapies as an adjunct or replacement for conventional medical care. These therapies encompass various practices and approaches aiming to improve health and well-being, including Reiki.

     Williams & Associates (WA) is a community based public health agency addressing minority health disparities and health equity in St. Louis City and County. The mission of the agency is to provide public health education, prevention, wellness, and treatment interventions that address health disparities while promoting health equity for marginalized people. WA is funded by Ryan White Care Services and other funding sources to provide  support and free services for people living with HIV (PLWH) including health education, prevention, wellness, and treatment interventions.
