Lauren Kamm MA LPC

Lauren is a passionate individual that wants to meet her clients where they are in the process. She understands how hard it is for others to reach out and be vulnerable. She believes therapy can be a space for all types of emotions, and she brings an authentic approach to therapy that creates a space where clients can be completely themselves!

 Therapy is a space where vulnerability, honesty, and growth come together. Her approach has shown results to help many young adults stop maladaptive cycles and improve their quality of life. Lauren individualizes her client's treatment with a variety of approaches to best fit their needs. Her training an approaches are based in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment (ACT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), and many more. 

Lauren has extensive training and a background in Crisis Intervention and treatment. Her experience includes a variety of different crisis settings including; The National Suicide Prevention Hotline, Crisis Stabilization Centers, Adolescent & Young adult virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). 

Lauren also is an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) trainer, which provides workshops to medical professionals for suicide assessment and safety planning. Lauren's crisis experience working alongside many first responders and medical professionals have created a passion and knowledge for working with these populations in a treatment setting.
