Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and wanting to work on your mental health.  

I am currently a graduate student in a Clinical Mental Health Program from Missouri Baptist University and earning my MA Master's in Counseling. 

Therapy is a privilege and all population groups including minorities should have access to these resources. Presently I am in my Practicum/Internship of the master's program and providing therapy services to the community at a community rate to not only give back to the community but gain the tools to be able to finish my degree following licensure.

My approach is one that focuses on creating the foundation of trust. I am an active listener, reflective and provide warmth, empathy and compassion to my clients. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking about and working through life's obstacles and challenges without feeling judged.

When I am not helping clients with their mental health, I am aiding in helping the community at the Federal Quality Health Center in St Louis. This organization helps those that cannot afford Dental, Vision, Psychiatric care, Nutrition Services like WIC etc. I enjoy being a part of the Behavioral Health Crisis Response Team. I have learnt so much and am still learning from the team on how to deliver care and help to patients at this organization.
