First appointment with chiropractic care:
On this first visit I will do a detailed examination of your musculoskeletal system along with going over your personal and family history as well as understand what your goals are in coming to see me and receiving care. The exam includes a range of motion evaluation, joint mobility assessments, orthopedic testing and a functional mobility screen.
My goal is to learn as much as I can about you in order to develop the best care strategy for you as an individual. Once the initial evaluation has been completed I will provide some form of care with our remaining time. In most cases I will be performing a chiropractic adjustment and some soft tissue therapy in other cases I will be only performing soft tissue therapy depending upon what I find in the evaluation. Though the risk of chiropractic care is very minimal it is important to ensure that the adjustment is a good fit for you.
Chiropractic adjustment is a type of intervention that specifically focuses on joint mobility and its relationship to surrounding tissues, muscles and organs. The power of chiropractic manipulation lies in its effect on the nervous system and circulation. The Central Nervous System controls every activity of the body all the way down to the cellular level!
Essentially the chiropractic adjustment helps to restore communication within the body and improve the communication between the body and the external environment. And it is the restoration of these communication pathways that we see profound results in the improvement of motion and the reduction of pain.
In these sessions I will use multiple tools to help facilitate the healing effect. I will use the hands-on approach to spinal and extremity adjustments, activator tool, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation and others depending upon the needs of the patient. Basically, in the time we have together I am going to do everything I can to make sure you get the most out of it!

There are a few different categories in this section that help to tailor the session to a particular demographic; general life coaching, academic and faith based.
A life coach is a trained professional who helps individuals achieve personal and professional goals, overcome challenges, and create a fulfilling life. Unlike therapists who often focus on healing emotional trauma, life coaches take a future-oriented approach, focusing on solutions and actionable steps to reach desired outcomes. They provide guidance, accountability, and support, empowering clients to unlock their potential and live intentionally. A life coach creates a safe and non-judgmental space, offering personalized strategies to help clients grow and succeed.
One of the key roles of a life coach is to assist individuals in clarifying their goals and vision. By helping clients identify what truly matters and define clear objectives, a life coach creates a roadmap that bridges the gap between their current situation and desired future. They work to improve self-confidence by fostering self-awareness and addressing limiting beliefs, empowering clients to cultivate a mindset of growth and possibility. In addition, life coaches can help improve personal and professional relationships by offering tools for better communication, conflict resolution, and boundary-setting.
Life coaches are particularly valuable during major life transitions, such as career changes, relocations, or personal challenges. They provide guidance to adapt to new circumstances with resilience and optimism. For those struggling with time management or productivity, a life coach can teach prioritization strategies, eliminate distractions, and foster better habits. They also help individuals break through blocks like procrastination, fear, or indecision by offering actionable solutions and techniques to push past barriers.
A holistic approach to wellness and balance is another hallmark of life coaching. By promoting self-care practices and reducing stress, coaches encourage clients to prioritize their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. In professional settings, a life coach can guide career growth, support leadership development, and assist entrepreneurs in building or scaling businesses. They help clients develop skills like networking, goal-setting, and performance improvement, offering a comprehensive approach to success.
Life coaches typically use one-on-one sessions, which can be conducted in person, virtually, or over the phone. They utilize tools such as personality assessments, life balance wheels, and visualization techniques to help clients gain clarity and direction. Through structured action plans and consistent accountability, life coaches ensure their clients remain focused and motivated.
First appointment with nutrition:
In this session we will discuss in detail your health goals and what it is going to take to make them a reality. Depending upon what you are looking for I will suggest that we do blood work and a hair analysis to get a good understanding of deficiencies and current concerns present from a physiological perspective. Similar to life coaching these sessions are designed to help guide you NOT to tell you what to do. In reality, any change has to be a decision made by you and in that way it is important that you take responsibility for your health!
Dr Ted has additional training in:
Clients need to be 18+ in order to benefit from Chirossage
